FAQ for your wedding photographer

  • Simply send me an enquiry form to check availability and choose your package. Bookings are confirmed via an easy online booking form. Deposits are 25% with the remainder due two months before the big day.

  • Believe me when I tell you that 95% of the couples I photograph tell me this and they are always so thrilled when they see the results because they look… totally relaxed, happy and natural. I keep my posing natural and my style laid back and fun - trust that I will never force you to pose uncomfortably or have you do anything you’re not up for! Many of the photos you see here on my website are taken when couples and guests aren’t even aware, allowing me to capture the spontaneous laughter, the secret smiles, the hugs and the kisses candidly, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your wedding.

  • No, it is not essential at all. What matters most when it comes to wedding photography is finding the right light and being able to work well with the couple. Experience can help but having an understanding of how to bring out the best in a couple's photos is more important.

  • Typically, wedding photographers ask for a 25% deposit at the time of booking to secure their services for the wedding day. The remainder of the payment is usually due two months before the wedding date. This payment plan allows the photographer to reserve your date and begin planning for your unique wedding photography needs. Be sure to discuss payment options and timelines with your chosen photographer to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement for both parties.

  • The cost of a wedding photographer in the UK can vary greatly depending on the experience and reputation of the photographer, as well as the type of services they offer. Generally, you can expect to pay anywhere from £500-£3000 for a full day's coverage. My full-day package starts at £1495.

  • The arrival time for a photographer on the day of the wedding can vary depending on the couple's schedule and photography needs. However, a general guideline is for the photographer to arrive approximately two hours before the ceremony begins. This allows ample time for the photographer to capture pre-wedding preparation photos, such as the bride getting ready, and detail shots of the dress, rings, and other accessories. By arriving early, the photographer can also use this time to scout and familiarize themselves with the venue, ensuring they are prepared to document every moment of your special day. It is recommended to discuss arrival times with the photographer well in advance of the wedding day to ensure a clear understanding of expectations.
